"Faz'at Watan" initiative by Al Own Contracting Group provides support to 150 affected families in the southern Jordan Valley
: During the past few days, cadres from the Al Own Advanced Contracting Group implemented the “Homeland Help” campaign under the direct guidance of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group, Eng. Mohammad Yousef Al-Tarawneh. Ten work teams were formed, each consisting of seven individuals. They inspected the damage and then began their work in building and rebuilding the agricultural metal structures that were destroyed by the winds, and carrying out comprehensive maintenance operations for the homes of the needy in areas of the southern Jordan Valley. According to Ihab Al-Khawaldeh of the Al Own Advanced Aid Group, the campaign included 150 homes. He added that the severe damage that the southern Jordan Valley suffered during the recent low pressure and strong winds caused great damage to the homes of the poor, which are usually built of bricks, hair houses, or plastic, in addition to damage to their farms and the plastic houses they contain, which prompted us to move to provide support and assistance through specialized groups that directly undertook maintenance operations, under the direction of the group’s management, with the aim of supporting our people in the southern Jordan Valley in these difficult circumstances. Al-Khawaldeh pointed out that these efforts are an extension of the group’s societal and national role and responsibilities in standing with the nation and the citizen under the wise Hashemite leadership that embodies the role model for all in serving the nation. Director of Al-Numaira Environmental and Tourism Association, Malik Al-Ajaleen, praised the efforts of the teams of Al Own Advanced Contracting Group, and added that the work plan they implemented contributed to providing aid and assistance to many families in the Southern Jordan Valley District. Al-Ajaleen explained that the teams carried out maintenance work on homes and provided direct support to families, which contributed to alleviating their suffering. Al-Ajaleen considered the company’s teams’ stand with the Southern Jordan Valley community an honorable stand that expresses the noble national values that aim to cooperate and unite in these circumstances. Citizens from the region praised the work plan of the Aid Group teams, which had a significant impact in overcoming the effects of the low pressure system that caused significant damage to the region.
